Killer, Clive Draper, is a clever, ambiguous character whose motives and personality is not beyond empathy. Empowered by his first kill, Clive uses his charm to draw further victims into his net. Seeing Matt as his mortal enemy, he uses his charisma to lure Matt’s new wife into his snare.

About the Author

Having left school at fifteen with no qualifications, a writing career seemed like an impossible dream for JJ Franklin, aka Bren Littlewood. Then a powerful Los Angeles earthquake thrust her towards that dream. Thankful that she had survived, Bren decided to pursue her dream and enrolled in part time script writing courses at UCLA.
After surviving a major earthquake in California, JJ Franklin, pseudonym of B M Littlewood, decided to review her ambitions. This led to her enrolling in script writing courses at the University of California at Los Angeles. Returning home to her native England, she continued writing, eventually contributing to an ongoing BBC drama series. Urge to Kill is her first novel and insight into the characters is informed by her work in the psychological field, both as a nurse and a counsellor. She holds an MA in counselling from Warwick University. Born in Birmingham, England, her first love was ballet. She was about to audition for the Ballet Rambert when the family decided to emigrate to Canada where she met her husband. She now lives in Stratford-upon-Avon where she sings in the chorus of a local society. At home, her cat, Ziggi, rules supreme.
Originating from England, Bren has had many jobs over the years. In Toronto, she worked at the Police Headquarters, training as a keypunch operator. This skill enabled her to work at MGM in Culver City, and she remembers the thrill of seeing Charlton Heston and Sammy Davis, Junior, whilst working there.
