Watching and other Stories.

This book is a collection of short stories and flash fiction. A mix of light and dark. There are fourteen stories in all. The title story 'Watching' is about that human trait of observing others. 'Jane Said' is always well received, most people seem to find an affinity with the eight year old 'little sister'. The longest piece, 'Reflections of Murder', is a novella. 'The Little Black Dress', was written with several Buckinghamshire villages in mind. My father hailed from Maids Moreton. I hope you enjoy reading this first collection.

Blurb from back of book: These are not 'Traditional Folk Tales' but nine wonderfully crafted tales written in the folk tradition.

In the mix, a talking oak tree, a prince, a cat with a knack for giving advice, a crow with plans other than bird-like, and all delicately bound together with a helping of mystery and magic.
