When Sorrows Come
This is the story of Anna, a young woman whose life is torn apart by the brutality of Stalin's bullies when they enter her village in Western Ukraine in 1939.
Her village is only one of many which is trampled and desecrated by Bolsheviks and Fascists in turn, as Russia and Germany fight for dominance in the East.
But Anna is determined and resilient so she finds her own path, helping the partisans against their powerful enemies, a path which has as much love as loss...
